Abstract
The Zacchaeus Course is a spiritual program designed to help lay Christians integrate their faith into everyday life. Initiated by Pierre-Yves Gomez and the Emmanuel Community, it focuses on aligning daily activities with the principles of the Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church. The course is structured around eight themes, each followed by exercises that encourage participants to apply teachings in personal and social contexts. It aims to dispel the notion of separating spiritual life from worldly duties, emphasizing the presence of divine opportunities in mundane tasks. Participants are guided to harmonize their spiritual aspirations with professional, familial, and social engagements, fostering a holistic Christian lifestyle. The course is intended for Christians seeking to deepen their faith and is supported by a network that facilitates group learning and personal reflection. It encourages a transformation in perspective, highlighting everyday life as a path to spiritual growth and sanctity.
