Abstract
This chapter examines stereotyping that seems to be an inherent part of post-merger or post-acqusition sense making processes in international contexts. The focus is on the stereotypes reconstructed in the interviews both by the representatives of that particular nation and the other Nordic communities. The analysis highlights the paradox that even though the Nordic region is often perceived by outsiders to be a relatively homogenous area, people in the four Nordic nations themselves perceive significant differences between their respective national cultures
