Abstract
"In this case, students are expected to create data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau software. The data used come from a Business Game which is played for ten years. Eight companies are competing in the automotive sector and the game provides an Excel file for each year, including all the companies. These data include mainly financial data, production data and marketing data. In a first step, students create visualizations and a dashboard related to their own company. The instructor can either use this case as an individual work or create 8 groups of students to affect them a different company to study. If only one company is used by all students, we advise to choose the blue company. In a second time, students must create new visualizations and a new dashboard, which is dedicated to compare their company to its main competitor on a dedicated market."
