Abstract
Didier Lombard and several ex-managers have recently been sentenced to a 15,000 euro fine and a year of imprisonment for “institutional and moral harassment” regarding the way they had managed change at France Télécom from 2007 to 2008. This court decision can be seen as a positive signal: it may in fact inspire managers conducting transformation, to find methods with consequences more favorable to employees, to companies and to themselves. In this respect, the notion of sense of justice may come in particularly handy.
