Abstract
The tradwife has become one of the most polarizing figures of the internet age. Depending on one's position on the ideological spectrum, she can represent either an aspirational role model embracing nostalgic values or a reactionary backlash against women's progress. For others, she is yet another influencer selling an attractive lifestyle through carefully staged images of family life. The debate has become so predictable that one can often anticipate the responses before reading them. In this article I explore the motivations behind this lifestyle choice.
