Expertise

My research examines how regulations influence the emergence of different types of innovation, and explores the unintended consequences that regulations have on an industry's competitive environment and development. I also examine how entrepreneurial firms shape an emerging industry's competitive structure using political strategies. My research is framed within the context of the emerging drone industry and has practical implications for entrepreneurs, managers, and policy-makers seeking to influence competition in high-tech industries.
