Expertise

As professor of economics of uncertainty, I explore how people make (and should make) decisions in situations where risks cannot be precisely measured — how they form beliefs, how much they trust their beliefs, and how these beliefs shape behavior. My work focuses on ambiguity, prevention, and the measurement of beliefs through interdisciplinary research that combines economics, psychology, and decision theory, often using lab and field experiments. I also co-direct the “Mental Health of SME Leaders” Chair with Malakoff Humanis, dedicated to research and prevention for entrepreneurs.
