Expertise

I am a qualitative researcher and ethnographer working at the intersection of political science, sociology, and anthropology. My research focuses on migration, migration policies, and social movements. I conduct fieldwork primarily in Algeria and Tunisia to examine the political and social dynamics that shape mobility and collective action.

I teach political science and geopolitics, and as an enthusiastic educator, I strive to foster critical thinking and intellectual curiosity through interdisciplinary and engaged teaching.

I am also co-editor-in-chief of L’Année du Maghreb, a peer-reviewed, open-access, and interdisciplinary academic journal dedicated to the study of North African societies.
