Expertise

Imen Ben Mohamed is an Assistant Professor at emlyon business school. She holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing from the University of Bordeaux and Inria, and a Master's degree in Operations Research.

Her research lies at the intersection of optimization, analytics, and operations management, with applications in supply chain design, transportation systems, inventory optimization, and omnichannel retailing. She develops innovative quantitative methods that support better operational and strategic decision-making in complex business environments.

Before joining emlyon, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at KEDGE Business School, where she contributed to applied research projects in collaboration with industry leaders such as Sephora, Lectra, and La Poste. Her work has been recognized with the Second Prize for the Best PhD Thesis in Logistics and Transportation, awarded by the GT2L Working Group and the European research community in metaheuristics.

Through her research and industry collaborations, she aims to bridge methodological innovation and managerial impact, helping organizations address increasingly complex operational challenges.
