Laura Bruschi is a postdoctoral researcher at the Lifestyle Research Center. She holds a PhD in Sociology and Methodology of Social Research from the Universities of Milan and Turin, and has been a visiting scholar at the Universities of Klagenfurt and Lugano. Her research adopts a sociological and Science and Technology Studies (STS) perspective to explore how market research and marketing practices construct knowledge about consumers in the age of data and AI. She is particularly interested in how digital technologies and socio-technical infrastructures shape contemporary understandings of consumers and markets. Methodologically, she combines qualitative approaches, such as ethnographic observations and interviews, with digital and computational methods to examine data-driven marketing and consumer cultures.
