As professor of corporate finance, I 'm working more specifically on issues of governance, regulation, and informational asymmetries for public companies. My work thus focuses on the behavioral analysis of corporate CEOs and how entrenchment strategies can affect both a company’s financing structure or interfere in the outcome of an acquisition. Focusing in particular on the audit market, I also explore how industry players engage in lobbying efforts to influence regulation and shape the market to their advantage. Finally, through the study of project financing and corporate public disclosure, I analyze how CEOs manage informational asymmetry in order to maintain their power.
