Expertise

I conduct research at the intersection of entrepreneurship and organization theory. My expertise focuses on legitimacy and legitimation dynamics in contested contexts (e.g.: cannabis, foie gras, immigration), and on inclusive/minority entrepreneurship. My primary interest lies in understanding how and why evaluators form different legitimacy judgments and how these judgments impact new venture creation, business growth, and socioeconomic (in)equality.
