Abstract
Selency is a platform that connects sellers and buyers of second-hand furniture and vintage accessories. This case aims to understand the stages of development of this start-up created in 2014 that has relied on successive fundraising campaigns to sustain its internationalization. The co-founders soon realized that the furniture market is a very local market and they decided to strengthen their position on the French market. Thus, this case highlights the specificities of the connection platform business model.
