Abstract

Venture Capital
Corporate venture capital (CVC) as a direct equity investment from a non-financial firm in external privately held entrepreneurial companies for both strategic and financial purposes. CVC is an efficient tool to accomplish corporate growth and innovation. The CVC programs provide the corporate investor a lot of market intelligence and an opportunity to study the environment. Corporate investor pursues CVC funding to secure market intelligence, to map emerging innovations and technical developments, and to gain windows on new market opportunities.
