Expertise
Ahmed is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at emlyon business school. His research is at the intersection of entrepreneurship and labor economics. He examines the developmental origins of entrepreneurship, and the impact of institutions on entrepreneurial dynamics including entry, growth, survival, and exit. His work has been published in the Journal of Business Venturing, the Journal of Management, and the Journal of the Operational Research Society, and has also been featured in Forbes, Poets & Quants, Times Higher Education, Medical Xpress, United Press International, Breitbart, and the Financial. He holds a PhD from the University of Warwick. He has won a number of awards for my research, such as Warwick Business School's outstanding research paper award. He was also named one of the 50 Best Business School Professors by Poets & Quants in 2022.
