Expertise
My research and teaching activities are articulated around three main orientations, which converge on a common analytical matrix: strategy work.
The first orientation concerns the processes and practices through which strategies are crafted. I examine their relational and distributive dimensions by paying particular attention to strategy work, and power relations.
The second one addresses the inherent tensions of strategy including in particular, the study of planning and emergent processes that underpin strategy formulation with a specific focus on the level of strategic leadership / change.
Finally, I explore the concept of style, understood as a determinant of strategy work. I analyze how style shapes individual, collective, and organizational trajectories in terms of development, politics, and strategic outcomes.
