My research interests focus on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, with special emphasis on digital platform and open source software ecosystems. As a professor, I provided part time consulting and training services for companies such as Roland Berger, Accenture, Huawei, Byte Dance, China Post, among others. I also provided media commentaries for Bloomberg, Phoenix TV of Hong Kong, TV Korea, China Daily, Shenzhen TV, etc. Before joining academia, I had extensive industry experiences. I worked as software architect for tech giant Motorola and startup companies in the USA. I earned my PhD in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
