Expertise

Shibashish Mukherjee, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of corporate finance at emlyon business school in France. He studies how the identity, skills, abilities, and experiences of corporate directors and top executives influence corporate governance mechanisms, firm performance, and corporate policies, which include tax planning, foreign investments, and financial reporting. He has published in leading academic journals spanning accounting, finance, corporate governance, leadership, and management, and has received multiple “Best Paper” awards at international academic conferences. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in corporate finance and corporate governance.
