Expertise
I am a first-year doctoral candidate in sociology at OCE at emlyon, under the supervision of David Courpasson, and at IRISSO at Paris-Dauphine University PSL, under the supervision of Elodie Edwards-Grossi. My research topic is titled "Decolonizing the Struggle for the Environment? A Sociology of Ecological Engagements in Popular Neighborhoods Among Residents with Migratory Backgrounds," and I focus on associations that address ecological issues and are rooted in popular neighborhoods.
More generally, I am interested in issues of popular ecology and environmental justice, social movements, paths of engagement and politicization, and ecological socialization.
Previously, I studied in CPGE B/L in Lyon, then in L3 Economics and Social Sciences at Lyon 2 University. I later joined a research master's program in socio-economics (SES IOES at EHESS and Dauphine), which gave me the opportunity to carry out two research theses: the first on the ecological associative engagement of students from African immigration backgrounds (supervised by Alexandra Bidet), and the second on the role of legal professionals within large companies (supervised by Thomas Angeletti).
